Onto the ERP news.

The U.S. Department of Justice is investigating SAP and Carahsoft for potential price-fixing, alleging that they may have conspired to inflate prices on government contracts over the past decade. The investigation focuses on whether the companies overcharged federal agencies for technology products, potentially involving over $2 billion in sales.

Microsoft will end support for its legacy ERP system, Dynamics GP, by September 2029, urging users to transition to its cloud-based Dynamics 365 Business Central. This move mirrors strategies by SAP and Oracle, which are also pushing customers to migrate from on-premise ERP systems to cloud solutions, offering incentives while phasing out support for older products.

NetSuite recently introduced new AI tools to enhance its ERP platform, including AI-powered analytics for detecting financial risks and automating reporting tasks. They also launched SuiteProcurement, which integrates with suppliers like Amazon Business and Staples to automate purchase orders and approvals. Additionally, new AI-driven tools like generative AI for customizing software functionality and Prompt Studio for refining AI-generated content provide businesses with more flexibility and efficiency in their operations.

Zoho has launched a low-code IoT platform that enables businesses to develop and deploy custom IoT solutions easily. The platform integrates real-time IoT data with AI capabilities to automate processes, provide insights, and improve operational efficiency, all without requiring extensive technical expertise. It is designed to scale rapidly and integrate seamlessly with both Zoho’s suite and third-party hardware, offering robust security and flexibility for diverse industries like smart buildings and energy management​
