Epicor has introduced its Grow portfolio, embedding AI into its ERP systems to enhance data insights and automation. This move includes the acquisition of Grow Inc., known for its business intelligence tools that simplify data integration and visualization. While the potential benefits for real-time decision-making and process optimization are clear, the practical implementation of such advanced AI within ERP systems remains complex. Although some envision AI-enabled ERPs autonomously managing intricate tasks, achieving this level of sophistication is still a work in progress.
Sage has launched two new suites, Sage for Accountants and Sage for Small Business, aimed at enhancing efficiency and productivity for SMBs and accountancy practices in the UK and Canada. Additionally, Sage is introducing Sage Copilot, a generative AI assistant to automate administrative tasks and provide real-time insights, starting in the UK in 2024.
