Cool Articles

Workday got a 16.5 million dollar contract to be the ERP for the Peace Corp. Interesting highlight for how the government uses ERPs. The Workday projects are part of a government-wide trend away from legacy ERP systems and toward more modern and agile solutions, Groundswell officials said in a statement.
Thought Pieces

It highlights the importance of integrating FinOps into ERP systems to improve spend management and procurement, while addressing challenges such as regulatory compliance and the hidden costs of cloud services.
An overview of the impending forced migration of SAP instances. While the contents of the article are specific to SAP, it’s an interesting insight into how the current ERP market works, and some of its major shortcomings. This article: Over 50% of SAP customers forecasted to run out of mainstream maintenance highlights the same issue.
